Our Family

Mike and I met in college. We spent the first 10 years in British Columbia, Canada where we had our first 2 children, Amber and Braden. We loved our time there with wonderful family and friends. But we felt the need to move to the States and have been here the past 11 years where Tanner and Jordan were born. We love the small town we live in, the wonderful people that are here, and being closer to Danae's family. We enjoy spending time together working and playing.

More Christmas Cheer

Braden surprised Amber with the Robert Munsch Collection, her favorite children's author.
Tanner and Jordan were thrilled to receive a Wii.
With the help of a crafty neighbor, Tanner made Amber a dream catcher with authentic glass beads, ostrich bone and turquoise.

A visit to grandma's house

On Saturday, I took a trip over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house. Literally. I remember singing that song as we'd drive when I was a child. The house is over 100 years old and looks much the same as it did when my grandma was living. It was strange being there without her. It made me miss her terribly. I took 300 pictures of the house and farm. Here are some of my favorites.

Grandma and Grandpa Wood are serving a mission close by. All the family joined together and had a little Christmas party. With Grandma as the director all the cousin acted out the Nativity. We were lucky to have Seth visiting to be our baby Jesus.
