Our Family

Mike and I met in college. We spent the first 10 years in British Columbia, Canada where we had our first 2 children, Amber and Braden. We loved our time there with wonderful family and friends. But we felt the need to move to the States and have been here the past 11 years where Tanner and Jordan were born. We love the small town we live in, the wonderful people that are here, and being closer to Danae's family. We enjoy spending time together working and playing.

Jordan's Cookout Birthday Party

Jordan had a fun birthday party on Friday. He and 8 of his favorite friends enjoyed painting and coloring on baseball caps. They came in handy while we were out in the hot sun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the back yard. Afterwards they tried out the newly received "side-action" squirt gun and water bombs in an all out water war.

MORP

Braden was punk'd for morp. As part of the pre-dance activities they splatter-painted t-shirts and the girls did the boy's hair. Braden sported a lovely pink mohawk. They played capture the flag and enjoyed a progressive dinner before the dance.

And the answer is...

"To find the answer here's the trick,
You must get to the center of each stick."...
was written on the outside of a bag full of handmade suckers. Located in the center of each sucker was a small square of tin-foil. ONE of the squares had Braden's response. I hope she has 5 friends that like the flavor of watermellon. :-)

Braden gets Forked!!

Braden came home from work to find the entire front yard stabbed with white plastic forks. Some had stick figures attached with cut out faces of random actors and cartoon characters. Taped on the rock wall was a sign that read, "Don't stand there like a stick, you're the one that I would pick. Will you go to Morp with me?" To find the name of the stabber, Braden had to search each fork, finally finding one that had a name written on it with a rolled up copy of her face. (Quite cute, I'd say) The most I got out of Braden was that she is in his P.E. class. From the way he's been acting I think Miss K. has herself a date!

Amber's Birthday

Amber turned 20 on May 4th. She was able to come home to celebrate. Mom ordered her a special "girly" pink and brown cake.

Jordan's Baptism

Jordan was baptized on May 3rd. We had lots of family and friends there to help him celebrate his special day. We appreciated Grandma and Grandpa Stallings coming from Idaho and Grandma and Grandpa Wood from coming all the way from Canada!

Tanner's County Fair Project

Tanner did a large project for school on Tooele County. He worked very hard on his presentation and report.
The 4th grade hosted a County Fair for parents to come and see the projects and ask the kids questions about their counties.
Good Job, Tanner!!
