Our Family

Mike and I met in college. We spent the first 10 years in British Columbia, Canada where we had our first 2 children, Amber and Braden. We loved our time there with wonderful family and friends. But we felt the need to move to the States and have been here the past 11 years where Tanner and Jordan were born. We love the small town we live in, the wonderful people that are here, and being closer to Danae's family. We enjoy spending time together working and playing.

Trip to Colorado

We had been planning a trip to Colorado all Summer. The day before we were to leave we received a call that Mike's Grandfather had passed away. We decided to still go to Colorado, but to continue on to Alberta for the funeral. We hurried and packed and left a day early. By the time we reached the top of Parley's (a very steep hill) the temperature gauge prompted Mike to pull over. There was green fluid pouring out under the hood. After 2 phone calls he pulled out the thermostat and away we went.

We arrived outside of Denver at Danae's sister's home. We had a great time with their family. Some of the highlights there were a trip to Boulder, where there was a fun toy store. A day at 6 flags. We also spent a day at the Denver's museum of nature and science with Danae's brother and sister-in-law. It is an amazing museum. One fun thing that Danae, Tanner and Jordan did was to dress up in goggles, gloves and lab coats and perform an experiment proving which cereal had the most sugar. Danae also caught a frog, which was pretty amazing if you know her history with creatures.
